I might need to change my newsletter platform (MAYBE)

Please note: as of today, nothing is changing BUT as a courtesy and for transparency, I want to share what’s going on behind the scenes.

As you probably know, I publish this newsletter using Substack, a content services provider. They handle all the operations so I can focus on creating content. Long story short, Substack’s payment servicer, Stripe, thinks I’m selling crypto, which violates their terms. They will cut me off on July 29, 2020.

I’m working with Stripe and Substack to resolve everything and hopefully never bring this up again, except to tell you everything’s cool and nothing’s changing. That said, it’s business, so you never know how things will end up.

What does this mean for you?

Nothing, yet. I have a backup plan so I will definitely continue publishing Crypto is Easy. That said, I prefer to stick with Substack and I’m working with them to figure out a solution that’s best for you, me, and everybody else—ideally, without you having to do anything.

Substack says they have my back, but they only use Stripe. No Stripe = no Substack.

Several questions about Ampleforth (Google It)

A few people asked me about the Ampleforth token (AMPL).

I looked into it, and it seems like an interesting project but until people build something that uses it or it has some real-world use or solves real-world problem, it’s hard for me to recommend. AMPL seems to be doing great, it doesn’t need my endorsement.

Maybe that means we’ll miss a moonshot, and that’s ok. We’ll miss a lot of moonshots, but we’ll catch some, too. AMPL could be huge, but there are lots of other opportunities in this market.

For example, I have recommended five altcoins to premium subscribers. Those alts have gone up 3x, 5x, 1.25x, and 2.5x, with another well on its way to 2x (maybe by the time you read this)—and they’re just getting started. Opportunities abound.
