Hi Mark, I am a beginner BTC investor that would love to make use of your plan. My only problem is the quantity and (at least for me) uncertain quality of companies that offer BTC buying/selling/... Some charge for BTC buying (e.g. Blockchain wallet), while others perhaps do not? When in the buy-zone, absence of fees for buying BTC could prove very important, as that could easily eat somewhat into the outcome of the invesment. Could you please give any favourite places you would recommend for buying/selling BTC or any other insight?
I use Gemini Active Trader. Sign up for Gemini and then request active trader. You have to learn how to use order books, which is a little more challenging than "buy now" button, but you save on fees - 0.25% to 0.35% depending on volume and type of trade. And you can move your cash into GUSD stablecoin for 7% interest while you wait for another opportunity to buy.
Also try Coinbase Pro, or Binance. While I'm shut out of Binance bc they don't serve US customers, I use Coinbase Pro, too. It has fees similar to Gemini.
At the moment I don't use any other services to buy bitcoin so can't speak from personal experience about other platforms. Readers have said good things about Voyager, Crypto.com, and Nexo. I have Voyager and Crypto.com to earn interest on crypto I already have, not to buy more. I haven't used Nexo.
