Mark, we love to follow you for the things you get right, but it would also be nice to get to know the things that didn't go so right and why. You know, we usually learn more from our failures than from our successes.
Hi Eder! It’s not really about being right or wrong but offering perspective about the overall situation. This is a speculative market and there’s a lot of uncertainty and risk, lots of variables that nobody can account for, so I don’t really count anybody’s opinion or actions as right or wrong, especially when so much of the outcome depends on what you as the individual do in response. You can get the best advice and input, but then get different results based on small changes in timing or approach. We're all thinking out loud and hoping for the best.
I would say the only thing that surprised me was bitcoin shooting off once it got above $16,000. I dismissed some pretty reasonable analysis suggesting it was about to explode, simply because my plan was not actionable above that price at that time. That was an error in judgment, for sure.
I suppose the biggest take away from that is this market can run harder for longer than it really should a lot faster than you might expect. We’re basically zooming to the end of this market cycle now. That caught me by surprise.
Hi Mark, I’ve had some money waiting to invest in BTC since it was around 12k And been waiting for correction since! I have a horrible feeling I’ve missed the train. A friend of mine said BTC isn't in a hermeneutic bubble where some statistical and behavioral feedback mechanisms control its destiny. Either it is an epoch changing currency or not. If it is, there is a massive demand./supply skew, which won't be balanced through a linear price discovery process. But rather through a set of recursive moves which will lead to rather aggressive and sustained price spikes... what do you think? And do you think I’ll still have my chance to get a good entry? Thanks as always 🙏
What happened? Plan called for us to buy from $5,400 - $7,800 and $9,800 - $10,100! If you're really antsy, there's no reason to wait, still early in the long-term market cycle BUT before you make any decisions, open these two updates for my views on the market as of November 17, 2020:
Grateful for your considered replies each time too! I think I missed those ‘coz I wasn’t yet subscribed to you for those lower numbers... for the 9.8-10.1 my funds only came in when we were already on 12,100... thanks though, will check your articles mentioned.
I read it, whew 😅... that’s very reassuring!! Thanks Mark

You use a lot of acronyms. Where can I find a list defining them?
Sorry about that! Tell me the acronyms and I'll define them in a reply
